4 easy ways to get that glowy skin, without makeup

 

Summer is the time of breezy hair, flow-y dresses, and glowing skin. We all want our skin to look radiant at this time and it’s a good thing we can all achieve this natural glow without the help of coverup or makeup. Here are 4 easy ways to get that glowy skin:

1. HYDRATE

Drinking plenty of water all year long is important, but especially so in the summer months when we are sweating more and our fluids need to be replenished. It is recommended that we drink at least 2 liters (64 fl ounces) a day of water, in order to keep our skin looking supple and dewy. Those recipes feature delicious, thirst-quenching fruits such as strawberries, kiwis, lemons and much more. 

2. EAT MORE HEALTHY FATS

In addition to drinking plenty of water, eating good healthy fats can also do wonders for your skin. Here are some foods that contain healthy fats (not an exhaustive list, of course): 

  • Avocados (rich is Vitamins E and C too)
  • Walnuts (contains a good ratio between omega 3 and omega 6 fats)
  • Sunflower seeds (rich in Vitamin E, selenium, and zinc)

3. USE A NATURAL FACE CLEANSER

4. USE A NATURAL FACE MOISTURIZER

People often forget that their skin is actually an absorbent organ. This is why products like nicotine patches and other skin patches work - the product relies on the absorbent nature of skin to trans-dermally affect the body.
